Isla de Murano in the Lagoon of Venice

When trips to Venice, in Italy, if you have a stay of three days planned, it is advisable that you dedicate one of them to do an excursion for the islands of the lagoon of Venice.
In this respect, I am going to propose to you an excursion that will allow you to visit the most important islands of the Lagoon of Venice, Murano, Burano and Torcello, so that you would have left hanging to visit the island of Lido.
A good starting point for this excursion would be to go out of the station of vaporettos of Railway, placed along with the Train station of Saint Lucia. Here you can take a vaporetto of the lines 41 ó 42 that will take you the first island of our excursion, that of Murano.

In this trip, the vaporetto will do a stop in the very near island of San Michele, which is occupied exclusive by the cemetery of Venice.
On having come to the island of Murano, bend in the first one of his stops, that of Colonna, already to visit the island on foot. During this walk, you will have time to visit some Murano glass factory, even the Museum of the Glass, the church of Santa Maria and Donato, with his spectacular Byzantine mosaic. And, of course, to cover the innumerable shops with products made with the famous glass.
The following stage in this excursion is the visit of the island of Burano. We will take the line LN at the station of vaporettos of Faro, which will take us straight to the island of Burano.
The walk along Burano will allow us to enjoy the big beauty of this fishermen's small island, with his coloring houses, and where also we will see the church of San Martino Vescovo, with his spectacular sloping tower of the belfry.

Finally, and like last stage, from the station of vaporettos of Burano we will cross to the opposite island, the small islet of Torcello, where we will be able to visit the Byzantine cathedral of Santa Maria of the Asunción, one of the biggest and most ancient of the lagoon of Venice, as well as his adjacent Byzantine church of Dark Saint.

Eye to the schedule, since both churches can only be visited until 6 p.m. (from November until February), until 5 p.m., in what it might be interesting to us to do the excursion to Torcello rather than the walk along Burano.
Now we must return to the vaporetto that will cross us again to Burano, where we will take another vaporetto to return to Venice.
